Any work students do not complete in class becomes homework. It is essential that students return to school prepared and turn in homework assignments first thing in the morning. Students who neglect to turn in their work on time, which is first thing in the morning, will not be allowed to participate in SNAB nor will they receive their pink ticket.
Each student will have a homework folder. They are responsible for placing unfinished work in the folder, taking it home each night to complete the work, and return it to school the following day.
Third grade students are responsible for an agenda. The teacher will write on the board exactly what the students should write and she will circle anything that is considered homework. Students are required to take their agenda home, have their parents sign it, and return it the following day.
SNAB is used to reward students who are following the school expectations by being ready, respectful, and responsible. Students Need A Break, or SNAB, will allow us to acknowledge the students who are doing what is expected of them.
Each student will have their own week to "Shine." Please help your child gather the important items they would like to share on the following days:
- Monday: Poster
- Tuesday: Favorite Picture Book
- Wednesday: Parent Letter
- Thursday: Five Treasured Trinkets
